Soundproofed benches for mass spectrometry
ZenBench · the instrument on top and the vacuum pumps inside, in an insulated, ventilated compartment.
Soundproofing50 mm multilayer acoustic insulation. About 20 dB(A) less noise, according to the manufacturer.
Automatic ventilationFans start at 20 °C and reach full power at 35 °C. Each moves 187 m³/h: the air is renewed every 2 seconds. Ultra-quiet, 150,000 h service life and easy to replace.
Temperature alarmVisual and audible, progressive in 3 levels: 56, 61 and 70 °C. A backup battery keeps it active during a power cut.
Heat exhaust (optional)Collector for 2, 3, 4 or 6 fans with an outlet for a 150 mm duct, to take the warm air outside or to the extraction system.
Anti-vibrationThe pump sits on stainless-steel trays with silent blocks, so vibration does not reach the spectrometer.
Structure and loadHigh-strength aluminium profile. Up to 500 kg (300 kg on the 78 cm models).
Materials12–13 mm HPL panels and a 20 mm Fundermax Resistance worktop, resistant to chemicals.
MobilityCastors with integrated fixing or levelling feet (4 to 8 depending on the model): it moves for maintenance and stays fixed while working.
Power12 V power supply included.
Room requirementsBetween 20 and 24 °C, 10 cm free behind the bench and a power socket nearby (ideally with UPS).

Acoustic enclosures for pumps and auxiliary equipment

Insulation50 mm polyurethane foam with a 5 kg/m² viscoelastic heavy layer, covered with washable PU. Self-extinguishing (FMVSS 302, DIN 4102 B3).
VentilationUltra-quiet 150,000 h fans, 187 m³/h: the air is renewed every 2 seconds under negative pressure.
Control and alarmVacuum pump enclosures: OFF / AUTO / MAX switch with 2 temperature probes. Visual and audible overheating alarm.
Installation4 steps, no tools and no need to switch off the pump. 12 V power supply included (230 V / 50 Hz mains).
Compliance and warrantyCE marking (Directives 2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU) and RoHS2 electronics. 3-year warranty.

Before you ask for a quote: what to have at hand
With this we can send you a complete proposal first time. If something is missing, no problem: we work it out with you.
- Exact brand and model of the instrument, and of the HPLC if it goes on the same bench.
- Vacuum pumps: how many, which model and whether oil-sealed or dry. Also whether there is a chiller or nitrogen generator.
- Available space: free width and depth, and access through doors or lifts.
- Accessories you need: monitor or CPU holder, drawer unit, shelves, power strip or solvent container.
- Mains voltage in the lab (for example 230 V / 50 Hz or 120 V / 60 Hz).
- Delivery country and approximate installation date.
- A photo of the space and the pump (optional, but it helps a lot).
- Room temperature and whether there is an outside outlet or extraction nearby, in case the heat collector is of interest.
