How it works
Draw the room
Rectangular, L-shaped, with a slanted wall or by hand. You can also upload a photo of a sketch with the measurements and the list of instruments.
Add doors, windows and instruments
Drag each element onto the plan. For each instrument we suggest the right ZenBench bench.
Compare and download
Choose the layout, move benches if you like, view it in 3D and download the plan as a PDF.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Designing is free and needs no sign-up. We only ask for your details to send you the PDF plan or the quote.
Is the plan final?
It is a guide proposal based on the measurements you confirm. Before the quote we review the layout with you and with the manufacturer, ZenBench.
How much space does it leave around each bench?
By default, maintenance is done by moving the benches on their wheels: 1 m in front to pull the bench out and reach the pumps, 15 to 30 cm behind (hot air comes out there), benches side by side in pairs with a 40 cm passage, and 10 cm behind the HPLC bench. If you choose a maintenance passage behind (50 cm), the benches stay in place and 75 cm in front is enough. These are the distances recommended by ZenBench; you can change them in “Space settings”.

Can I send you a hand sketch?
Yes. Upload a photo with the measurements written on it and LabFit Planner reads it. You can also write the list of instruments and which ones already have a bench. If you prefer, send it to us and we prepare the plan.
